Hi, I'm Dakota!


Born and raised in Southern California, my deep love for family brought me north, and love firmly rooted me here. Today, I live just outside the stunning Napa Valley with my amazing husband, our sweet son, and our three lively dogs.


My passion for photography began at the age of 16 when I received my first Canon Rebel—a thoughtful gift from my parents and older brother that sparked a lifelong journey. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a creative outlet I couldn’t live without. I fell in love with landscape photography, traveling far and wide to capture the beauty of nature. Occasionally, I was lucky enough to photograph wildlife, which deepened my appreciation for the world around me.


Over time, I realized that nothing compares to capturing the raw beauty of real moments with people. In 2020, I shifted my focus to documenting life’s authentic connections, creating a brand and portfolio that I am incredibly proud of today. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of my family, friends, and the wonderful clients who trust me to preserve their memories.
